Lenora
Presenting the Purrrrfectly Sweet Princess Lenora
This is Lenora, and she is everything you would want a princess to be - mature, kind, articulate, loving, smart, gentle, and polite.
In June of 2023, Lenora’s family received the devastating news that their daughter had Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. This sweet four-year-old has courageously fought cancer for the past year, and it was a complete joy and honor to watch this brave and beautiful girl enjoy a morning of princess pampering and kitten cuddles.
The lovely and talented Chelsea Hungate gave Lenora some princess glam before she changed into her princess gown and accessories. She came out with such poise and grace from crown to high heels.
We started out with lots of royal accessories, and Lenora enjoyed playing with her wand, ring, necklace, crown, and mirror and practicing her twirls in her beautiful dress and sparkly shoes.
Then we brought out the bubble machine, and little brother got to get in on the fun too. Joy filled the room as they played in the bubbles.
We did some more princess posing, and everyone in the room swooned as Lenora gave the cutest head tilts and sweetest smiles.
Her biggest fans were her amazing parents who constantly told her how beautiful she was. I’m sure this was just a glimpse into the unwavering support they have given Lenora throughout her cancer journey. It was so precious to watch them ooh and ahh over her and to witness the special bond this family has.
Next we transitioned from princess to kittens, and we swapped the gown and crown for her custom kitty t-shirt and stuffed kittens to play with, cuddle, and adore.
But do you know what’s even cuter than Lenora playing with stuffed kittens?
Lenora playing with REAL kittens!
After lots of fun with the kittens, we transitioned to our final set in front of our inspirational words banner. Lenora asked her mom to read the different words to her, and when she got to the word “Brave,” Lenora asked, “Brave, like how I’m brave when I get my port accessed?” Her mom hugged her and said, “Yes, exactly like that.”
This was such a special session. We had the best time with Lenora and her supportive, courageous, and beautiful family, and we will be praying for as she continues to bravely battle this disease.
