In our “Olivia Strong” Era
In January of 2023, Olivia was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. After bravely fighting and enduring treatment for the next several months, Olivia went into remission in July of 2023. While she had been cancer-free for almost an entire year, two days before this session was scheduled to take place, Olivia's family received the devastating news that she had relapsed.
The team of volunteers came ready to give Olivia the day of her dreams in order to add some much-needed light and joy to her and her family. And boy did they deliver! Olivia is a Swiftie, and we decked out the beautiful Blanc Studio with all the Taylor Swift elements we could think of!
Olivia arrived with her best gal-pals - her older sister, her mama, and her grandma. She was given quite the glam treatment as three incredible women came prepared to make her feel her most beautiful. Jorden Cage dolled up her face, Katie Cusick worked her magic on her hair, and Abigail Watson added the perfect touch with sparkly silver nails.
After Glam was complete, Olivia put on the most perfect purple dress and pink boots to begin her Lover Era Taylor Swift photoshoot.
We all watched in awe as this strong girl shined her light so brightly as she stood on a stage and posed with so much grace and joy.
Big sister got to join in on the fun too, and it was so special to see the love and joy these two brought out in each other. It was beautiful to see the bond these two share.
Olivia has such an encouraging support system in her sister, mom, and grandma. What an honor to capture the joy and love these ladies share for each other!
For the second portion of her session, Olivia changed into her personalized t-shirt from the always generous Jessica from Hood and Pine Boutique. The outfit was completed by a sparkly tassel jacket and sparkly silver leggings. Katie and Jorden also added a little extra bling to her hair and makeup.
Olivia is a dancer and a gymnast, and she and her sister enjoyed showing off some of their incredible moves for everyone to enjoy.
This girl stole our hearts on that heavy and joyful Saturday. We ask for you to be lifting her and her family up in prayer as she begins treatment this week. If you would like more information on ways you could support this family, please reach out to us.
